Boat Ramp

Stony Point Boat Ramp is an all weather 3 lane ramp with parking on bitumen for 45 trailers. On busy days fishermen often park their trailers behind the caravan park or in areas along Stony Point Road.

Washdown is NOT available.  There are 2 fish cleaning tables.

From 1st September 2019 fees will no longer be charged for boat launching in line with State Government's  Better Boating Victoria policy.

The launch and retrival area at Stony Point can be come quite congested on busy days so we ask ALL users to consider others and be patient and follow the lines when launching (blue) and retrieving (yellow) .    Do not try to jump the queue and remember retrieving boats have priority particularly when the weather changes.

Boats are not to be left on trailers in the trailer parking area

The facilites were constructed by and are maintained by the  Foreshore Committee and we ask that you consider all users of the are and not to block the entry to the Caravan Park

All patrons are reminded to secure their belongings.

We ask everyone to adhere to government directions to reduce the spread of Covid19

  1. to stay at home if you are unwell
  2. undertake only essential travel
  3. keep 1.5m social distance 
  4. gatherings of no more than 10 people
